Pilates by Elise is a boutique studio with intentionally small class sizes to provide a personalized experience. Space is limited and in high demand. Competitive pricing is thoughtfully designed to provide exceptional value, even compared to larger studios in the area. Consequently, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
Cancelling inside the 24-hour window is considered a “late cancel” and the fee for the scheduled session or class will be forfeited. For changes to any sessions below, clients will be notified of cancellations or changes via client's preferred email or text.
Duet sessions are typically scheduled by couples, families, or friends to come to a Pilates session together. If one of the scheduled clients cannot attend, the other client may decide to come on their own for the price of a private session or chose to cancel with 24 hours notice. Duet sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will result in a “late cancel”.
Trio sessions also are typically scheduled by families or friends to come to a Pilates session together. If one of the scheduled clients cannot attend, the other two clients may come as planned as a Duet with no change in per person price. Should two clients be unable to attend, the remaining client may decide to come on their own for the price of a private session or chose to cancel with 24 hours notice. Trio sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will result in a “late cancel”.
Individual clients may join a Small Group Class with two others for a small personal session of 3 participants. These classes are published on the website schedule and may booked through the website link or through Elise directly. A client may sign up for a Small Group Class if they have completed an Intro to Pilates with Elise or have approval to register. The studio reserves the right to cancel any class that does not have at least 2 clients signed up 24 hours in advance. If a class is cancelled, the remaining client may choose to pay for a Private Session at the regular rate, join another class at another time, or opt for a shortened 30 minute Solo Session. A “late cancel” will apply to any client that is registered for a Small Group Class that does not cancel 24 hours prior to class.
At Pilates by Elise, we strive to make our studio a healthy and welcoming space for everyone. Because we focus on deep breathing during our sessions, and due to personal chemical sensitivities, our studio is a strictly fragrance-free environment.
Please wear clothing that is comfortable and allows you to move freely preferably something that stretches and allows the instructor to see proper alignment and form during exercises. Avoid bulky jewelry or necklaces or chains that could attach to moving equipment and cause injury. No shoes will be worn in class, clients may either wear “grippy” socks with non-slip bottoms or go barefoot.
lease be advised for allergies and awareness that there are two dogs in the home; however, they are not allowed in the studio during class. While the studio and equipment are thoroughly cleaned daily and between classes, it is not possible to completely eliminate all traces of pet fur.
